The Schedule for the first half of 2010 is as follows:

January 29th – Lismoyne Hotel in Fleet http://www.lismoynehotel.com Using Social Media to Promote Our Businesses – Gary Gorman from Paradigm Training www.paradigmtraining.co.uk  asks us all to bring our laptops as we’re gonna get twittering right there & then!  Gary is going to tell us how he has made money from social media networking (twitter / linkedin / facebook / online forums) and hopefully help us get going with using these marketing tools that are generally free and so useful to add to our marketing activities.  For those of us who have made a start with social media networking and are maybe already tweeting a little Gary will help us get much more from our efforts.  This session looks set to be really popular so I need confirmation by way of payment to secure places as it will be first come first served.  I will send booking details by the first week of January once the venue is confirmed.

February - Lynne from Challenge Manager has offered an opportunity for people to experience a taster session of working with a Horse Whisperer.  This will be different from usual Challenge Yourself! events as there are additional external costs involved but it will be a truly memorable day exploring a whole new approach to personal development, emotional intelligence and leadership.  If you haven’t yet expressed an interest (no obligation) please contact us ASAP.  Lynne will be in contact in the New Year once the details of this session are firmed up with the Horse Whisperer.  Venue is likely to be in or near Portsmouth / Southampton / New Forest.

March 29th – Holiday Inn Winchester www.hiwinchester.co.uk – Julie Tate will be teaching us the Argentine Tango for Teams as we experience a unique communication and team development activity where we will experience what it is like to be part of a well performing team with the chance to trust and be trusted by strangers, to communicate and negotiate, to assess and adapt to someone’s limitations.

May 24th - Alan Donegan – Getting the Most From Powerpoint  Alan will be giving us top tips on how to use power point for greatest impact and to give our training the WOW factor.  Alan is a trainer, speaker and competes with his stand up comedy.  He promises us a lively and interesting morning that will re-energise and re-enthuse some of us who have perhaps turned away from using powerpoint in the last few years.  Venue to be confirmed but is likely to be in the Basingstoke / Hook area.

June 25th - The Authentic Self Experiment – Bournemouth Uni - Jon Bowmer will be providing us with a highly interactive exploration of the many selves that we have and exactly what is our authentic self.  This session will be hosted at Bournemouth University.  There is also the option to stay on and go for lunch at a lovely beach front restaurant which is great if we have a sunny day.

September 20th - Brenscombe Outdoor Centre http://www.brenscombeoutdoor.co.uk/  - we are invited to have an opportunity to experience the activities at the Outdoor Centre and try out Activity Based Learning as well as pushing ourselves to work outside of our comfort zone.  We will gain an insight to how it might feel to be a delegate in some of the training we run as we challenge people to stretch themselves and develop their skills and confidence.   Guaranteed to be a great fun morning too followed by lunch.
